Mentor
The first question I usually get is "What do you mean by Mentor? or, "What kind of mentoring do you do?"
Well first, let's look at the definition
mentor noun 1 an experienced and trusted adviser. 2 an experienced person in an organization or educational institution who trains and advises new employees or students.
- Origin from Mentor, the adviser of Telemachus in Homer's Odyssey.
Compact Oxford English Dictionary
Now that we have this definition as a starting point, I would like to answer these two questions.
As for the first question, "What do you mean by Mentor?" Well, I'm a person who offers myself as "an experienced and trusted advisor." And I must say, "trust" is not the easiest thing to come by. It's earned over time.
Mentoring and being mentored is a relationship that's built by testing boundaries both physical and emotional. It may mean giving up control for some, or practicing restraint with others. Either way, both parties emerge from the experience as more complete and whole individuals. The definition also states "experienced" as a key word. Yes, I am experienced in what I mentor. I've been doing it for many years. I'd like to give you more details about this but my explanation would become much longer then it already is. For now, let's just say, I know what I'm about. "Grin"
Everyone's Mentoring style is different. I prefer my mentoring style to be tailored toward the desires of the person I'm mentoring. This may work for some and not for others. It's all good to me. Everyone has a match out there. Sooner or later, you'll find them or they'll find you.
And for the second question, "What kind of mentoring do you do?" That's easy, the kind that lets you explore your sexuality to it's fullest measure "Safely". To give you an idea, some things that come to mind are, exploring fetishes, relinquishing control or even taking it. If you have any questions about what this means I'll be happy to answer them.
Most importantly, mentoring is one of my greatest passions. It's sharing my knowledge and life experiences with another and in doing so, creating unique bonds that last a life time.
